Industrial Scales are being used to weigh fish caught in club competitions held by the Albany Offshore Fishing and Boating Club. Supplied by Accuweigh’s Albany branch (South of Perth in Western Australia), the Industrial Scales feature a fully sealed basework to prevent water damage to the sensitive weighing components.
Manufactured by A&D Australasia, the Industrial Scales
are configured for dual ranging for increased weighing accuracy over a wide
weight range. This allows smaller fish such as bream to be accurately weighed
using 5g divisions up to 15kg, with the Industrial Scales automatically
switching to the 20g division for weighing larger fish up to 60kg caught during
the offshore events.
An A&D 4406
Digital Weight Indicator generates weight readings from the A&D SB series scale
base which is rated to IP65 and is fitted with a stainless steel weigh pan. A
large digit Remote Display is serially connected to the indicator to display
the weight readings to all members using large 120mm digits.
A&D Australasia markets an extensive range of Industrial
Scales, platform and counting scales, warehouse scales, automatic
checkweighers, load cells, weight displays & indicators which is only
available through authorised distributors. Other
complementing products from A&D includes an entire series of
scientific laboratory balances, viscometers, moisture analysers, dynamic weighing
systems & weight capture software.
