Weighbridge speed humps minimise weighbridge maintenance costs.

The end-to-end movements of a weighbridge is limited by adjustable bolts and restraining plates sunk into the weighbridge foundations. Over time, continued heavy braking by trucks can damage these restrainers leading to excessive weighbridge movements.

Weighbridge load cells are designed to accept vertical forces only - excessive weighbridge end-to-end movements impact side loadings which can damage both the weighbridge cups and the load cells themselves and ultimately leading to expensive load cell replacement.
