Wet Area Scales are being used to weigh kegs of beer after filling at the Steam Exchange Brewery in Goolva, South Australia.
Wet area scales were required to cope with the constant washing down that all equipment in the filling area is subjected to.
Accuweigh’s Port Adelaide branch supplied A&D’s model HV wet area scales in a weighing capacity of 220kg to ensure a high level of overload protection is available to cope with the occasional knock and bump the scale may receive while the kegs are being positioned on the scale weigh plate.
The HV wet area scales are ideal for use in wet environments due to their full stainless steel construction including the digital weight indicator which is both swivel and tilt adjustable to ensure the ideal operator viewing angle can be obtained.
The internal re-chargeable battery fitted to these wet area scales provides up to 50 hours of continuous operation before requiring recharging, to eliminate the need for an expensive waterproof power point in the wet area. The triple ranging feature is trade approved and provides enhanced weighing accuracy when weighing lighter products.
Accuweigh has branches in all mainland states providing complete after sales service support on all types of scales and weighing equipment.
