Weighbridge relocations are becoming a regular occurrence for Accuweigh with our Newcastle branch recently completing a weighbridge relocation for Tamworth’s BMR Quarries.
A concrete weighbridge deck in good condition and measuring 20m by 3m was purchased in Sydney by BMR and transported to their quarry for relocation.
Even though the weighbridge wasn’t supplied with the original civil drawings to allow new foundations to be constructed, Accuweigh’s QWM branch in Brisbane hastily generated custom drawings based on the dimensions of the actual weighbridge deck and forwarded those to the client’s civils contractor.
Accuweigh also supplied new weighbridge load cells and a digital weight indicator as part of the quoted price for the weighbridge relocation to ensure the client had full knowledge of expected costs before purchasing the weighbridge deck. Accuweigh also supplied a weighbridge remote display to enable truck drivers to see their axle weights as they drive onto the weighbridge.
The entire weighbridge relocation was completed within two working days after the weighbridge foundations had cured and included full weights testing, calibration and certification for trade use.
BMR Quarries is a family owned and operated company, which focuses upon the supply and delivery of crushed rock and other raw materials for use in construction on time, within budget, and to specification.
Accuweigh is Australia’s largest industrial weighing company and has branches in all mainland states with the capability of performing weighbridge relocations, weighbridge testing and weighbridge certifications.
