Waterproof Digital Weight Indicators were recently commissioned at a meatworks in Central Queensland to eliminate scale down time from adversely affecting production output. Supplied by Jason Bailey from Accuweigh’s QWM branch in Brisbane, the Waterproof Digital Weight Indicators were fitted to eight existing scale bases.

Accuweigh’s X-320 Waterproof Digital Weight Indicators are fully sealed and rated to industry’s highest level of sealing integrity (IP69K) which allows for direct hosing with high pressure hot water. These Waterproof Digital Weight Indicators do not require removal from the boning room during washdown cleaning; nor do they require to be fitted with vinyl hoods to prevent direct water from hitting the housing – they were specifically designed for use in washdown environments.

Another bonus feature of the X320 Waterproof Digital Weight Indicator is its solid capacitive keyboard that can’t be accidentally damaged by boner’s knives. The capacitance effect of an operator’s finger near the keys is all that’s required to initiate a key press without any physical contact (even when wearing gloves).

An Accuweigh service technician fitted Waterproof Digital Weight Indicators to eight existing scale bases after removing the previously used brand name indicators that were regularly failing due to water and keyboard damage.

Accuweigh are Australia’s Weighing Experts and has extensive industry experience on all types of scales and weighing equipment. With eight branches across mainland states providing superior service support, Accuweigh should be your first contact for all weighing enquiries.
