A Victorian stockfeeds manufacturer recently added an Accuweigh weighbridge to their existing Avery weighbridge to create a split deck weighbridge with an overall length of 36 metres for weighing B Double trucks.
The new 18 metre weighbridge was installed and commissioned for Heytesbury Stockfeeds on the Victorian Central Coast during the Xmas break so as not to hinder the company’s busy production schedules.
The split deck weighbridge uses 3 x Rinstrum R420 digital weighing indicators to provide the individual weight indication for each weighbridge as well as perform the vital summing duties for the total weight on the split deck weighbridge.
Twin Rinstrum D740 weighbridge remote displays are used to display the weight readings of each weighbridge deck to the truck drivers so they can check they have not exceeded legal weight limits.
