REPAIRING POSTAL SCALES MORE EXPENSIVE THAN BUYING NEW

Postal Scales
Postal Scales

Postal Scales were recently purchased by a Licensed Post Office in Newcastle, New South Wales. Supplied by Simon Rainey from Accuweigh’s Newcastle branch, the AP series Postal Scales cost less than the verbal quote price to repair the client’s alternate brand Postal Scales.

Manufactured by A&D Australasia, the AP MK111 Postal Scales are the preferred scale for use by all Australia Post outlets and are available from Accuweigh branches in all mainland states. To enable the one set of scales to accurately weigh a variety of packages, the AP Postal Scales have an dual ranging which automatically increases the display resolution on smaller items but still allows heavier packages to be weighed at normal resolution.

The EP Postal Scales are fitted with three data outlets to communicate with up to two EPOS terminals simultaneously for calculating postal charges based on scale weight. A&D’s Postal Scale is fitted with both a vendor and a customer display to enable both parties to see the acquired weight readings.

The small footprint and low profile of the AP Post Office Scales saves on bench space requirements and the scales can be operated from both mains power using the supplied plugpack or from replaceable batteries.

Accuweigh is Australia’s largest industrial weighing company and has eight branches across mainland states staffed by trained weighing professionals to provide full after sales support on A&D’s AP series Postal Scales.
