A Load Cell Weighing System was recently purchased for fitting to a heavy capacity hopper to allow the contents to be accurately weighed. Supplied by Accuweigh’s QWM branch in Brisbane, the Load Cells and Digital Weight Indicator have been configured for a 100t weighing capacity.
The Load Cell Weighing System comprises:
• 6 x heavy capacity, industrial load cells
• 6 Sets of top and bottom mounting plates
• A Digital Weight Indicator
• A 4-20mA current loop output
• A 6 input Load Cell summing box
The supplied AccuPoint Load Cells have a rated weighing capacity of 25t and feature a low profile that is ideal for use in heavy capacity weighing systems due to the minimal effect on the hopper’s centre of gravity. Constructed fully in stainless steel and rated to IP68, these Load Cell weigh modules feature both over-lift and side restraints to securely locate the hopper in windy conditions.
The stainless steel housing of Accuweigh’s IT1000 Digital Weight Indicator is designed for use in Industrial Weighing Systems and is rated at IP65 for use in wet areas. An integral mounting bracket is suitable for both desk and wall mounting applications and the IT1000 is available with either VAC or DC power inputs.
