Platform Scales for heavy duty industrial use were recently supplied to Domaine Chandon Wineries on the Maroondah Highway in Melbourne’s North East. Supplied by Accuweigh’s Springvale branch, the Platform Scales were customised to suit the client’s weighing application.
Comprising a HW Platform Scale base from A&D Australasia, the
standard weighing electronics were replaced with an upmarket A&D 4406 Digital
Weight Indicator to allow accurate setpoint control during a filling process. A
setpoint option card was fitted internally to the indicator with an output cable
supplied to connect to the client’s control hardware.
A&D’s Platform Scales were configured for a weighing capacity of
300kg by 0.1kg resolution with the weighing base measuring 600mm x 700mm.
