Battery Powered Food Scales were recently supplied to the Emerald store of Eagle Boys in Central Queensland. The Food Scales are used for weighing individual ingredients loaded onto pizzas to ensure product consistency.
Supplied by Accuweigh’s QWM branch in Brisbane, the JWG-15 Battery Powered Food Scales have a 15kg weighing capacity in increments of 0.001kg (1g). These food scales are fitted with a stainless steel weighing plate for easy cleaning and the large Liquid Crystal Display is backlight for clear reading under all lighting conditions.
Accuweigh’s JWG series battery scales are ideal for use in portable weighing applications due to their ability to be operated from a variety of power sources, including AC/DC plugpack, an internal re-chargeable battery or can also be fitted with dry cell batteries. The internal battery is very long lasting and provides up to 110 hours of continuous use before recharging is required.
An Auto Power Off function puts the Food Scales into Sleep Mode after an adjustable period of inactivity to further extend the battery life. With a net weight of nearly 4kg thanks to a strong and robust chassis, these scales are very stable and are designed to take the knocks and bumps expected in a busy pizza shop.
