A set of Axle Weigh Pads was recently hired by a boat manufacturer based in Hemmant, Queensland for weighing a large catamaran. Supplied by Accuweigh’s QWM branch in Brisbane, the Axle Weigh Pads were fitted under the wooden chocks supporting the vessel.
To ensure the Axle Weigh Pads were correctly positioned without any side forces to limit weighing accuracy, Accuweigh’s service technicians attended site to over-see the weighing process. With a weighing capacity of 10t each, four Axle Weigh Pads were used to perform the vessel weighing.
