ACCUWEIGH’S PERSONAL SCALES IN USE AT MAJOR NSW HOSPITAL

Personal Scales
Personal Scales

Two sets of personal scales are being used for weighing patients at Ryde Hospital in Sydney.

The personal scales were donated to the hospital by a recent patient who was very thankful for the high level of care he received during his recent stay.

Accuweigh’s Sydney branch supplied the personal scales to the anonymous donor at a discounted price as was a third set of scales for the client’s own personal use.

The PW series personal scales from A&D Mercury were ideal for this weighing application due to their large and stable weighing platform that has a non-slip surface for patient safety. The 220kg weighing capacity of these personal scales is suitable for weighing most patients.

The PW personal scale has a freeze function to lock the displayed weight once the reading has stabilised. Power to this personal scale is by an external plugpack, but can also be operated by fitting 6 x D cell batteries to the inbuilt battery compartment.

For heavier patients and for those who are no longer mobile, A&D have a complete range of chair scales, bariatric scales, platform scales and wheelchair weighers with capacities up to 500kg.

Accuweigh has branches in all states providing after sales service support on all hospital, medical and laboratory weighing equipment.
